In one hour you can experience the rooms of the historic laundry room after renovation

Indoor – themed building tour, not barrier-free (participation from 12 years)

For the first time, we can take you on a guided tour of the various floors of the laundry building, which was built in 1902 and converted into a laboratory and lecture hall in 1927.
Together with our guide, you will walk through this building from the first construction phase. – You will not only be able to marvel at the historical building fabric, but also at the craftsmanship of the recent renovation work.
Historical photos & facts paired with current information on the renovation work on the BAUM & ZEIT site make this special tour a special experience and we are proud that the SPURS OF HISTORY are still recognizable on the face of the building even after the renovation.

  • Price: 12,50 €  per person*
    *Participation in guided tours is only possible with an additional, valid admission ticket for the park grounds of BAUM & ZEIT with treetop path.
  • Duration of the tour: 60 minutes
  • The public tour starts at meeting point B.
  • Please arrive on time at the meeting point for the guided tours. – If you arrive late at the meeting point for the guided tours, there is no entitlement to a refund or cancellation of the booked service.
  • Maximum 30 participants. – Participation only possible from the age of 7. – In addition, the participation of Children & teenagers (from 7 years) only permitted when accompanied by an adult.
  • The tour is not barrier-free.
  • Photography for private purposes is permitted. – Photo-shootings are not possible during the tour.
  • Dogs are not permitted in the park grounds, on the treetop path and during the guided tour.
  • This tour can be booked for private groups via gruppen@baumundzeit.de.
  • Private guided tours in English can be organized at short notice on request. – Other foreign languages on request.

By car:

You can reach us via the A9  Berlin – Nürnberg departure 2 „Beelitz-Heilstätten“, or the Landesstraße 88. Parking lot 2 is open in winter.

By train:

You take the Regionalbahn Line 7 the route Berlin – Dessau, Get off at Beelitz – Heilstätten station and follow the signs for the Beelitz Heilstätten treetop walk (Baumkronenpfad). After a 5-minute walk you will reach the entrance at the “Pförtnerhaus” (gatehouse)
