What will the weather be like today?
Even if it’s “raining young dogs” in Berlin, the sun can still smile in Beelitz.
Rain clouds often make a small arc around Beelitz. This is due to the geographical conditions (the Beelitz Sander, the Teltow and Fläming mountain ranges, the Havel lakes and the Nuthen lowlands). In short: from the observation tower of the treetop path, with a little patience you can often observe that clouds rolling in from the west take a new direction roughly before Lehnin or the districts of Klaistow and Busendorf. You can reach us via the A9 Berlin – Nuremberg motorway, exit 2 “Beelitz Heilstätten”, or the L88 minor road.
By train:
Take the RE 7 regional express train on the Berlin – Dessau line and get off at Beelitz Heilstätten station, then follow the signs for the “Baumkronenpfad” Beelitz Heilstätten. The entrance is about a five-minute walk away.
